Counselling and Psychotherapy in Bristol

John Hardy MA. MSc. Reg. MBACP (Accred.)

Counselling and Psychotherapy offer the opportunity to explore emotional or psychological difficulties with someone who is trained not to judge, but to help you understand your feelings, or what is happening, and perhaps come to decisions about what to do. There is no attempt to persuade you to do or say anything you don’t want to, and we go at your own pace.

People of  all ages and backgrounds may find themselves seeking therapy, and for a wide variety of reasons. You may be upset or distressed, having problems with feelings or thoughts, relationships with others, or your own behaviour. Crises of all kinds may result in  you finding it difficult to cope emotionally; alternatively you may be distressed and not know why. Therapy may be able to help you find a different perspective and understand what’s happening to you. It may also be that you just want the opportunity to learn more about yourself, to explore your feelings and thoughts.

I have been offering confidential, approachable counselling and psychotherapy in Bristol for 25 years. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me, confidentially and without obligation, at
